April 17, 2010 - Every Spring The Temple of Glory International partners with the city of Chicago in the City's Clean and Green program! Each year members volunteer their time, service, energy and resources to clean our neighborhood streets, sidewalks and alleys. We also plant gardens and flowers.
This year's event was a great success with more than 20 volunteers. While performing our yearly Spring Clean and Green Pastor Wilson ministered to a young man who received Jesus Christ while we were cleaning the neighborhood!
This goes to show you that WE are the temple and everywhere we are is a great place to talk about Jesus Christ! Every minute is a moment for ministry! Welcome to the family of God George Dillard.
This event was in conjunction with the City of Chicago and The Blessed Child.
New Member Spotlight
One of our newest members, Will Washington, has accepted Christ, completed new members class, gotten a new job, and worked in his first Servant Evangelism project!
Will works at Target and is growing in his relationship with Christ. He attends Bible Study every Wednesday and is a talented poet and rapper.
We are honored to have Will Washington as a member of our congregation!
Father's Day 2010
On June 20, 2010 The Temple of Glory International honored Deacon Clarence Wellmaker as the Father of The Year! Deacon Wellmaker serves faithfully as a deacon. He and his lovely wife Virginia are pillars of our church.
Kia Nesbitt serves as the praise and worship leader of The Temple of Glory International. Kia is a single mother who has overcome several challenges in her life. She is gifted to usher people into the presence of the Lord!
We praise God for her progress and growth! And are honored to have her on her worship staff!
