SALVATION

Salvation is probably one of the most misunderstood and distorted topics in all of Christianity. Some say that you must speak in tongues while others say you must perform certain "good deeds" in order to be saved. Still even more confusing are the ideas of non-Christians who think you have to "get yourself right" before you can be saved! At The Temple of Glory International we teach that "if you can get yourself right by yourself then you don't need God". God takes us just as we are but loves us too much to leave us that way! Being saved simply means accepting the work of Jesus Christ on the cross as a substitute for your sins. By doing so we obtain RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD!! All Have Sinned - Confess It!
The first step to being saved is to admit that you are in need of a Savior. If you do not think that you are "that bad" then you will not see your need for Christ. We must understand that ALL are guilty before God. (Refer to our Bible Search page and Read Romans 3:23)
Jesus Died So You Don't Have To
Since we are all guilty of sin then we all deserve to die and be separated from God for eternity. BUT THANK GOD FOR JESUS! Jesus died on the cross for our sins so we wouldn't have to. HE DIED IN OUR PLACE! What a deal!!!! (Refer to our Bible Search page and READ Romans 6:23)
Believe Jesus and Receive Jesus
God wants to have a relationship with YOU so much that He sent His Son to die in your place. All you must do is believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead. Then you must confess (say) it with your own mouth. When he hears your voice invite Him in His Holy Spirit will come and live with you FOREVER!! (Refer to our Bible Search page and Read Romans 10:9,10)
SALVATION PRAYER
"Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. But I thank You for dying for my sins. I believe that You died on the cross and rose again. I invite you into my life and my heart. Come into my life and I will serve you for the rest of my life! AMEN!"
